Java Developer Contract

Qualifications:

Java Developer – Contract – Remote :-

Java Developer with strong experience on AWS Cloud, Backend Java and Microservices. Strong experience in Java (Spring/Spring boot, JPA, SOAP, REST). This is a 9-month initial contract in a Financial company. This role is 100% remote.

Job Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in software development and testing
• Strong experience in AWS Cloud using:
  1. S3, SQS + DLQ
  2. Apigee, Akamai, API Gateway
  3. RDS MySQL
  4. Fargate containers
• Strong experience in Java (Spring/Spring boot, JPA, SOAP, REST)
• Knowledge on one or more scripting languages (e.g. Python, Bash)
• Experience using Gitlab as source control tool
• Knowledge on Terraform for infrastructure as code
• Experience in Jira/Confluence
• Agile project methodology
• Experience in:
  1. Message brokering (inbound and outbound)
  2. SOAP message manipulation (security, parsing, and data transformation)
  3. API integration

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

• Healthcare IT experience
• ReactJs and Rules engine experience and
• Platform experience: Kubernete and Docker
• Relevant Development certifications
• Leading large-scale projects with at least 10 technical people
• Find care and Compliance experience

Experience:

• 5-8 years related work experience or equivalent combination of transferable experience and education
• IT development/programming/coding and architecture within an Automation Environment.

Required Education:

• Related Bachelor’s degree in an IT related field or relevant work experience
